I have this album on vinyl, is it worth anything? I think I bought it
before I got to high school, is a masterpiece a lot of people know nothing
about which is is sad really…

    3. Joan Vivolin Says:

This is the most beautiful progressive song I have ever heard… Reminds me
of my childhood trips to amusement parks. Wait, that’s kinda bad…

This is a hell of a song for a kid to listen to at bedtime, but it’s the
sort of music I grew up on as a kid. Hope it doesn’t give anybody
      nightmares. :)

Great song. I also listened to it in my teens. Does anybody know if the
piano opening is Tout’s composition or if it’s taken from a classical
piece, like the intro to Running Hard (Litanies – by Jehan Alain)?
By the way: They used Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherezade for their own magnum
opus by the same name on the other side of this record.

    17. Graham Burnett Says:

I always remember that Radio caroline used to play this late at night circa
1975/76 – part of my introduction to ‘alternative’ music that was different
from Showaddywaddy on TOTP which was kind of all I knew back then when I
was 15 years old in what was then a pre-punk era… This used to quite
creep me out listening to it on my little radio in my dark bedroom. I
hadn’t seen the film then but reminds me alot of the cult film ‘Carnival of
      Souls’…

Commenting b/c I went to the fair today but when I arrived there was nobody
there (they were shutting down b/c it had rained all day even though it
stopped by the evening)…so I got this song in my head anyway!
